Alpha Omega Eta African Sorority, Inc.

Proelefsi Chapter at the University of Florida

Greetings from Proelefsi...

Hello and welcome to the official website of the Proelefsi Chapter of Alpha Omega Eta African Sorority, Inc. at the University of Florida.

Our Vision:

To serve as the breed of the world’s most excellent leaders and servants. Our African foundation serves as an element of pride, vision, and strength for our sisterhood.

To serve as a breed of excellent women and leaders of integrity, vision, mission, and love, in lieu of the African history and experience, both on the continent and in the Diaspora.

To promote Pan-Africanism and improve the economic and social conditions of Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora.
To unite college women for the interests of Africa, the promotion of its cultures, and the uplifting of its people all over the world, enabling them to achieve their full potential and purpose.
Our vision for the 'African' is to be empowered to perceive challenges as a mere opportunity to succeed and take pride in their 'African-ness'.

Our Goal:

To create and develop initiatives that empower women at the University of Florida, giving her a reason to celebrate her womanhood, and not despise it.

To support younger children in the Gainesville community in excellent achievement and provide the tools needed to excel far beyond the limitations of their varying circumstances.
